Terms and Conditions for Online Services

Parties
https://locus.ae (“Site”) is owned and maintained by Locus Elite Computer Software – Sole Proprietorship L.L.C. (“Locus Elite” or “Provider”), a company established under the laws of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with its registered address at 10th Floor, Dar Al Salam Building, Al Danah, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., P.O. Box 22204.
These Terms govern purchases of Online Services made by any organisation or individual (“Customer”) through the Site or the Locus Elite mobile app.
1. Definitions
“Charges” – the amount shown on the payment page for the Online Service.
“Customer Confidential Information” – any information disclosed by the Customer to the Provider that is marked or reasonably understood as confidential.
“Customer Data” – all data or materials uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted through the Platform by the Customer.
“Intellectual Property Rights” – all worldwide intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered.
“Online Services” – digital reports or software subscriptions for media-monitoring and analysis provided by Locus Elite and purchased via https://locus.ae or the Locus Elite app.
“Original Delivery Date” – the delivery date stated on the payment page for the selected Online Service.
2. Payments
Customers must pay the stated Charges using the available online payment options.
Services are delivered only after successful payment.
An electronic invoice will be issued upon completion of the transaction.
Accepted payment methods: Visa and MasterCard debit/credit cards in AED or USD.
3. Cancellation Policy
Online Services may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the service has not yet been delivered.
Cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected] quoting the order reference number.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and processed within 10 to 45 days, depending on the card-issuing bank.
Refunds will be granted if:
An incorrect Online Service was delivered and not corrected within 7 days after the Original Delivery Date; or
The Provider fails to deliver the service within 7 days after the Original Delivery Date.
5. Delivery Policy
Customers receive delivery confirmation by email sent to the address provided at purchase.
Customers may check delivery status by emailing [email protected] with their order reference.
Multiple orders may appear as separate postings on the cardholder’s statement.
6. Payment Confirmation
Upon successful payment, an electronic confirmation will be sent via email within 24 hours of receipt.
7. Provider Confidentiality Obligations
The Provider shall:
Keep all Customer Confidential Information strictly confidential;
Not disclose it without the Customer’s prior written consent; and
Apply the same or greater degree of care as used for its own confidential information.
Disclosure is permitted only to authorised employees, advisers, or subcontractors bound by confidentiality obligations.
8. Intellectual Property
This Agreement does not transfer or assign any Intellectual Property Rights between the Customer and Provider.
All platform technology, reports, and materials remain the exclusive property of Locus Elite.
9. Notices
All communications and notices must be in writing and sent to [email protected].
10. General Conditions
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
We will not trade with or provide services to OFAC-sanctioned countries.
Users under 18 years of age may not register, purchase, or use the website or app.
Cardholders must retain a copy of transaction records and these terms.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time; the latest version will always be available on https://locus.ae.
